“Brethren, my Heart’s desire and prayer to God for (the World) is, that they
might be saved”
Romans 10:1
I know you will want the latest update from Cameroon,
Africa. God has placed George and us in a very special and timely
place in the Christian Development of Cameroon. These are Important
moments in God's Calendar of History. We know times like this have
always been more difficult than we could ever imagine. Thank you
again for your prayers and thoughts for these desperate lives and
times. We Thank You and are so excited about being used of God
during these desperate times.
Last week I was preaching a full week revival in the Haitian church
west Jacksonville. 3 to 4 hours each night and three times this
week the Pastor Dr. Duclos has called me and shared he has never
been in such a wonderful revival; over 200 attended each night and
a number of pastors have already asked if I would preach in their
churches. Some nights people had to sit outside on the large porch
of the double wide trailer. Praise God.
There is recent news about a boat that may be given to us. We will
know more very soon God willing. We hope to hear some wonderful news
about the 53' Hatteras this week. In adding up the needed
expenses 16K plus hauling it out for inspections and basic updates
and needs the total should be about 25K-to-30K Perhaps
individuals or 12 churches giving $2500. We are so excited about
these real possibilities. Some work can best be done in Haiti or
Honduras.. I will keep you up on details later. Wow Praise God!
The cruise speed is 8kts up to max of 17kts. The fuel tanks now
hold 550 gal +- and by easily adding 300+- additional gal we will
have more than enough for travel through out the Caribbean ,
Honduras, Jamacia, Haiti and Dominican Republic. The V8 engines are
Turbo have a "Sweet Spot" for fuel economy. The "Living Room" is
large enough for special classes for the pastors etc. I should be
able to send pictures and more information later this week.
Bro. Glynn Stone Proverbs 3:5-7 |
Greetings, Dr. Stone
Thanks so very much for coming to our assistance again. We have not
had so much at once to spend for a number of months. We have been
getting along by the chin-chin Irene makes. She makes them and keeps
in a local store, and in two weeks she can earn enough for us to
have some food. The funds you sent will help sustain the business by
buying flour. We can use the flour for making bread for the family,
and chin-chin for sell. She can only sell in Ndu. Some people make
it here too, but she tries to make the difference by making it
really good. Many are in this business in Bamenda. That is why we
cannot try to sell there too. Actually, the Seminary is trying to
survive through a hard season. I took over as President in June,
just after students went home on break. The three months from June
to August are usually very hard for schools in the CBC and Cameroon
generally. The reason is that during break time no fees are
collected, so we have little to earn. Things will get better from
September to May. This is not to say that we do not earn anything at
all. We receive some money which helps to keep us going. But
sometimes, like this month, we wait longer for the money to come,
and when it comes, we use in paying debts incurred in the course of
month. It is difficult to explain how we live financially. That is
why “lump-some” amount of money like what you just sent can make a
big financial turnaround. Accept the deep and very sincere thanks
from all of us here. Glynn is doing so well. We also bought milk for
him. Our Camera is not working well. We tried snapping some pictures
to send but they were not good. We are sorry. We hope to do so as
soon as we can get a friend to snap them.
Thanks
In His service
